Every time I come back from a cycle ride, our cat always greets me and jumps on the garden bench, next to where I sit to recover, and we kinda hang out for awhile. While we sit there, he doesn’t want to be stroked (he does at any other time/place), so we sit serenely and contemplate. I’m unsure why he does it…Perhaps he likes the smell of sweat? He does put his paws over my discarded hat & gloves in a proprietory way…Perhaps it is because he is named Fausto, after the legendary Italian cyclist Fausto Coppi ‘Il Campionissimo’…In any case, it feels like a lovely bonding moment, a habit we both enjoy, I ❤️ it and I ❤️him!#catsofinstagram #studiocat #cycling #faustocoppi
